Are you planning a wedding in 2019? Well then lucky you and congratulations! Although I do not envy you the somewhat heinous task of planning your own wedding. It seems to me to be one of the most stressful (and expensive) experiences in life, though it's meant to be the most joyous.
But I am here to help you see what's trending in the world of weddings for 2019. The predictions seem to be....COLOUR!!
Gone are the blush, rose gold and metallic elements of 2017/2018. Make way for the boho bright trend.
If you're not ready for a non-white dress or multicoloured, mismatched glass goblets then why not start with the flowers?
Try combining clashing colours like orange and pink (I love Dahlias and Peonies for these, or even Ranunculus). Sprinkle in complimentary blues and purples (fragrant Lavender or spiky blue thistle, maybe?). Add some lift with white (like Asters or Queen Anne Lace) and finish with some luscious and exotic greenery (Eucalyptus is as popular as ever or how about Safari Sunset Leucadendron?).
Outside-inside is going to be big next year, with hanging garlands adorning every ceiling. So why not forgo the real gold place-card holders and spend the money on turning your reception into a botanical haven? If your budget isn't large enough to get a professional florist to create this there are plenty of websites where you can buy large amounts of flowers (including rustic wedding/boho wedding bundles) so can DIY your arrangements!
